Logging in

What should I do if I get a 'wrong login/password' message? First you should check for case sensitivity, your password is case sensitive. For example, if your password is XXX and you type in xxx, you will not be able to get in. Also, be careful not to enter any spaces before or after the password, the spaces are interpreted as characters and you will not be able to login.

I have forgotten my login and/or password, where can I get them? Click on the link 'forgot password' or 'lost password' near the Password field on any page. You will see the 'Forgot password' page. Follow the instructions on that page.

Why I can't bookmark a page from my account? If you use bookmarks, then bookmark only the main page listed above and not any other within the site. Please remove any or all other bookmarks from MerryDating.com.

What is 'My account'? Your account is the section of the site that is available only for registered users. Only from your account you get such advantages as viewing the full profiles of the members, reading and sending messages to other members, modifying profile, uploading photos.

How can I get into my account? Enter your login and password in the fields at the home page of the site and push Enter. The fields for login and password are also on some other pages of the site.

Mail

What is 'Mailbox'? 'Mailbox' - is the section of your account where you can send receive messages from other members of MerryDating.com.

Where is my mailbox? You can get into your mailbox by logging into your account and clicking on 'MAILBOX' picture.

How do I check my mailbox? You can check your mailbox by clicking on 'mailbox' on top of your page when you are logged into your account. On the next screen you will see your inbox. Click on the subject line and you will be able to read your mail. Anything marked 'new' is new mail that you haven't read before.

How can I view the profile of the sender? At the 'Mailbox' page click on the nick-name of the sender in the Sender column.

How do I send mail? Go to your mailbox and click on 'compose message' on top of the page. Fill in the member's nickname (login) that you want to send mail to, the subject of the mail and the actual message that you want to send. When you are done, click on 'send' and your message will be sent.

How do I send photos? Users with free membership can send up to 3 photos a day to other users of MerryDating.com. To send a photo you should open your mailbox and click on 'Send photo' button, then choose the photo from your hard disk and click 'Send'. The message with the photo will appear in your outbox as a usual message with the photo icon.

Is there a way for me to send mail for free? Users with free membership can send unlimited number of messages. The only rule is not to send your direct e-mails, postal addresses, phones. Our robot automatically processes each message and cuts off direct e-mail, postal addresses, phone numbers etc. If you want to send the mentioned information, please, upgrade your account.

Why I receive messages with e-mails being cut off? Users with free membership can send unlimited number of messages for free. How many mails am I allowed to send? The amount of e-mails you are allowed to send is unlimited.

How do I delete my mail? If you want to delete your mail, check the box on the left hand side of the message that you want to delete and click on 'delete'.

I deleted a message by mistake, is there any way I can recover it? Unfortunately, if you have deleted a message by mistake, there is no way to recover it. However, write to our support department, supply the sender/recipient and the date of the message, maybe we will be able to help somehow.

How can I see the mail I have sent? Click on 'mailbox' on top of your page when you are logged in. Then find an 'Outbox' link on the page and click it.

How long can my message be? Messages sent in MerryDating.com can be no longer than 4000 characters.

Can I send an attachment with my mail? No, it is not possible at this time. You can send photos instead. To send a photo you should open your mailbox and click on 'Send photo' button, then choose the photo from your hard disk and click 'Send'. The message with the photo will appear in your outbox as a usual message with the photo icon.

Profile

How do I update the information in my profile? If you want to update any information in your profile, log into your account, and click the 'MODIFY PROFILE' option.

How do I change my password? To change your password simply log into your account, click 'MODIFY PROFILE', then switch to the 'Password' tab and submit the new password.

How do I upload my photo into my profile? If you want to upload your photo into your profile, log into your account and click 'UPLOAD PHOTOS'. You can also e-mail the picture to us at photos@merrydating.com and it will be processed by the staff promptly. Supply your login and password in the body of the message.

How do I remove my photo from my profile? If you want to remove your picture from your profile, log into your account, click on 'UPLOAD PHOTOS'. When you see the list of pictures, click on the trash icon on the right.

How do I delete my profile? If you want to delete your profile, write us at support page, supply your login and password. Please remember, once you delete your profile, it cannot be recovered.

How do I view my own profile? If you want to view your own profile, log into your account, then find 'MODIFY PROFILE' section and click the 'your profile' link .

I just added a profile. How come I can not find it in 'search' or 'lately joined' page? Your profile will not be online until it have been audited by our profile auditor. Please do not change the profile details before you see the first version online.

How do I search for a specific person on MerryDating.com? On 'Search' page type in the nickname (login) of the person you are searching and click the 'Search' button.

Why do I get a blank page after I do a search? If you get a blank page after a search, it means that there were no profiles found in the database that matched your criteria. Try broadening your search criteria

Why do I not get any results? If you don't get any results, try broadening your search criteria. There may not be profiles in the database that match the criteria you used.

How to view all profiles of the site? You can view short profiles of both men and women without logging in. To do this, click the 'LATELY JOINED' link on the home page of MerryDating.com. You will see the gallery. You can navigate through the pages by clicking 'next' and 'prev' links. To view the full profile you will need to log in.

How to view the full profiles of the members and send them messages? Log into your account and click on 'LATELY JOINED' link. You will see the gallery of the profiles. Click on the photo to view the full profile of the member. Click on 'Send message' to write the message.

Memberships and Billing

Can I upgrade my account? Only men can upgrade their accounts at MerryDating.com.

What are the benefits of the Gold membership? Supply direct contact information in the messages
The messages of the Gold members can contain direct contact information (e.g. e-mail addresses, phone numbers, ICQ and Yahoo messenger IDs, postal addresses, appointment details etc.). While free members are locked to communicate through MerryDating.com accounts only and can not supply direct contact information.

Send more messages, contact more ladies
The daily messages limit for Gold members is 50 messages while free members can send only 15. Also Gold members can send unlimited number of photos while free members are limited to 3 per day.

More efficient profile
Gold members can upload up to 7 photos to the profile. Their profiles always ranked higher in lists. Also we apply some additional tools to raise the efficiency of Gold members' profiles.

Track your messages
Gold members can view the status of the sent messages. The status icon near each message in the Outbox indicates if the message was read or deleted by the recipient.

Better support
Gold members receive better and faster support.

How do I upgrade my membership? Click on "UPGRADE" picture on your account home after logging in at MerryDating.com, choose the payment option and follow the instructions on the screen.

How can I find out what membership status I have? Click on "UPGRADE" picture in your account home after logging in. If you see the payment options, this means that you have a free (Silver) membership. If you see your membership status table, this means that you are a Gold member with all advantages.

How much is the Gold membership? The Gold membership is $18.89 for 1 month, $42.89 for 3 months and $65.89 for 6 months membership. All membership fees are in American dollars.
